Park for FREE

Round and round you see them go
Where will they park, nobody knows.
Saturday shoppers in search of a space
Their parking skills are far from ace

Mr photocopy parks at 8
Hurry up Nath or we’ll be too late
In his Saab, lots of room he will need
Along comes me, I can park at speed
He looks rather scared as I squeeze in behind
I live here you know, do I need to remind

Round and round you see them go
Where will they park nobody knows
Mums and dads, the elderly too
All want a space there’s shopping to do.

Works vans galore, double yellows what’s that?
The traffic warden, he’s a complete twat
Who bloody cares, we’ll park where we like
And if there’s a gap why not squeeze in a bike
Oh there’s a disabled space, you can’t park there
Who gives a toss, I really don’t care.

Round and round you see them go
Where will they park nobody knows
In front of your window that’s where we’ll park
We’ll stay here all day until it gets dark

In the middle of town there’s parking for free
In the middle of town there’s the Colony
Get there early, don’t delay
The residents there, they have no say
Residential parking you’re having a laugh
This is East Devon Council, don’t be daft

Round and round you see them go
Where will they park nobody knows
Colony Residents in search of a space
