Back At It part 2

I rejoined Weight Watchers a month ago, in that time i have lost 6lb, not a massive amount but a loss none the less. Since embarking on my healthy eating regime I have been plagued with health issues, what's that all about.  You're supposed to feel better, look better, be better.

Firstly, during half term, I started seeing shadows in my left eye.  Now I know this is serious, my job is eyes.  So what do I do??? Ignore it of course.  A case of "it'll go away."  Actually no it won't.  Turns out I had the start of a retinal attachment plus a couple of holes.  Have now had that eye lasered twice.  Hopefully that's it now but who knows.  I'm just very lucky and very grateful for working with some of the best ophthalmic surgeons I know.

So the morale of that little tale is DON'T IGNORE EYE PROBLEMS, GET THEM CHECKED!

Second issue has been my teeth or tooth.  I had a bloody abscess appear on a crowned tooth.  Pain! I'd sooner push a baby out.  And just for good measure I end up looking like the elephant man.  Not pretty.  What hurt most of all was having the crown drilled, £200 of dental work destroyed.  Guess that one's gone.  Am I on the slippery slope to dentures?  I bloody hope not.

Finally, eating fruit, veg and all things good should be good for the skin.  Not a chance.  Teenage acne is what we're talking.  OMFG!!!!  This really isn't fair.  I need a McDonald's to clear my skin, its the only answer.

There has also been a moment of madness amongst all this.  A moment called "Swimfit."  I've registered with good intentions, I don't even have a decent swim suit for god sake.  Still, I'll give it a go.  Might even get the bike serviced.  OMG, who am I kidding, what I need is someone to drag me out each day...any volunteers?
